Hello, I’m Kaylee (Li Huang), a postgraduate student on the MA Graphic Branding & Identity course at London College of Communication, UAL.
I first came to the UK in 2019 and completed my BA in Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading. Since then, I’ve worked as a Junior Designer in both B2B and B2C companies, where I gained practical experience in branding, e-commerce, and communication design.
Alongside professional work, I have developed independent creative projects, including street photography and handmade design crafts, which have allowed me to explore visual storytelling and identity through different media.
My design interests lie in the intersection of branding, culture, and identity—how design can both shape and reflect communities, values, and ways of living. I am particularly curious about how visual communication can respond to broader social and environmental challenges.
This blog is a space where I will document my journey at UAL: sharing reflections, research, and projects, as well as the process of developing my own design practice.
